The multi-touch function of the Nuvi 3790T might not seem as advanced to the users of the Android or iPhone. The effectiveness and it operation are not compromised by this effect even it does seem to not be as seamless or completely smooth. A minor flaw is the lack of light sensors that adjust the light in ambient lighting conditions. That issue is easily compensated for with the high quality screen display.

Along with the City Navigator® NT, the Nuvi 3790T comes standard with the SUNA Traffic Channel, and the subscription is valid for life The one possible consequence of such a low-profile design is apparently there was no room left for an FM receiver. SUNA offers traffic updates, but you need a receiver to get them. Since the FM receiver is in the charge unit, you will need to have it. You will be able to get traffic updates on the road because the charger is a mobile device.

It also has Bluetooth capability so that you can make hands-free phone calls. But you might want to experiment with the device since the microphone always seems to be the last thing they think of installing – typically not the highest quality mic on the market.
